Blackwater is a book about how the military contractor firm grew during the early 2000s during the Iraqi war efforts. It details some of the methods used by this company during the war as well as some of its business tactics that enabled it to become one of the largest armies in the world. There is also speculation about corruption and political policies and agendas that led to the rise of the organization. The author argued that the growth of the business and drive came from Republican mantras and catered toward the idea of war. It was originally published in 2007 but has had several releases in recent years.
